The product is in the form of sodium borate (borax) - in this form it is absorbed in the intestines. It is mainly removed in the urine.

Three chemists are credited with the discovery of boron: Joseph Gay-Lussac and Louis Jacques Thénard received the element during their research in 1808 in Paris. It is an inorganic chemical compound - sodium boric acid - also known as "borax", "sodium tetraborate" or "sodium tetraborate"^[2]). Boron belongs to 13 group (IIIA) of the periodic table of elements - it has the symbol B and the atomic number 5.

Boron is necessary for the efficient performance of many body processes. Although it is a trace element, its deficiencies have many unpleasant consequences. Sources of boron in the diet include dried prunes and apricots, raisins, avocado, onion, cinnamon, parsley, potatoes and nuts^[3].
